Kindle Version: Seduce Me At Sunrise (The Hathaways)

As a big fan of Mine Till Midnight (The Hathaways, Book 1), I couldn't wait to get into the second book of The Hathaway Series.  And once again, it was a very enjoyable read!  It was, however, my least favorite of the entire series.

Lisa Kleypas has a wonderful talent of creating multi-dimensional, charming and complex characters.  I love the family dynamic we find throughout the series.  Reading her books always feels like a dinner with family.  I was happy to find much of that feeling existed in Win's story.

Unfortunately, it was Kev that ruined this story for me.  Instead of coming off as heroic, he came across more cowardly.  There's always an element of the dark, dangerous and edgy in Kleypas' men but for me, Kev was more barbaric than anything else.  He had a cruelty and selfishness about him that overshadowed his vulnerabilities and fears.  Some of the things he did and said made it difficult for me to forgive and forget.  Win's sweetness and compassion definitely trumps my own.  LOL

But they can't all be like Cam, now can they?
With that being said, it was still an entertaining and well-written read.
